Bridesmaids Gifts
Since the dresses were different styles, they were all different prices. I asked each girl to pay $150 (the cheapest dress price), and my mom and I covered the rest. I didn't think it was fair to charge each girl a different price. We also paid for their shoes and earrings. And the day before the wedding, we had a bridal luncheon and spa day, where we paid for a manicure and pedicure. I also gave them all monogrammed bath robes. We did not pay to have their hair done, but I also didn't require them to have a hair appointment; they all chose to.
At the luncheon, I also gave them these damask picture frames with a photo of me and each of them.
And they each got one of these cute cards.
Groom's Gift
I gave the husband a pair of cufflinks that had antique maps in them. One has Memphis (where we live) and the other has the town in Wyoming where he grew up.
I also found an Accutron watch (on Gilt) that was about 75% off and gave him that as well.
Parents' Gifts
I LOVED these: handwritten recipe platters. The bottom says, "Two hearts. Two souls. Two families. Today become one." I asked my mom for a family recipe and asked his mom for one as well. At our rehearsal dinner, we gave my mom his family's recipe and vice versa. I think they really liked them.
(Got this pic from etsy.)
I also gave them custom handkerchiefs. My mom's said, "Today I'm a bride. Tomorrow I'm a wife. But I'll always be your little girl and best friend." And his mom's said, "Thank you for raising your son to be the man of my dreams."
(These aren't actually mine. Got this pic from etsy.)
Grandparents Gifts
I gave the grandmothers a Willow Tree keepsake box that on the inside says, "Love that transcends the years." I also gave them handkerchiefs.
Out of Town Gift Bags
I already mentioned these, but I thought I would include them in the gift post. I bought these damask bags and attached a note saying, "Thank you for traveling from near and far to be here for our special day. We hope you find these goodies helpful and enjoy your stay in Memphis."
The bags included bottled water, snacks, Advil, an Elvis keychain, a map of Memphis, a copy of the Memphis Flyer, a custom "Do Not Disturb" door hanger from Laura's Etsy shop, and Corky's BBQ sauce. Most of the items I got in bulk at Sam's, so they were pretty cheap. Each guest staying at the hotel received one of the bags when they checked in.
Almost done recapping!

Great gifts! I love the recycle bags you used for your out of town bags. :)
I'm in love with the hand-written platters. Great ideas, some of which I'm sure I'll use when I get married :)
These gifts are all so wonderful! I wish that my husband and I had the money to give our mothers and grandmothers gifts. I really wanted to get my mom a custom made monogrammed blanket!
Great gifts! I ordered the the bridesmaids cards from Etsy for my girls a few months back--can't wait to give them. They're so cute!
so cute!
Dang you're good! I'll be coming back to all these posts when it comes time to plan my wedding!
That parents' gift is such a great idea! So special for both sides. Very cool.
I REALLY love all you did for your girls. I want to have a really low key wedding and I hope to be able to pay for their dresses!
